Cantera Negra is named after the Tequila Volcano’s black rock that enriches the region’s agave fields. We crafted a fantastical brand world that paralleled consumer insight and product origin story by reimagining an ever present active version of the region’s volcano. We introduced a brand universe and memorable character unlike anything the tequila category has ever seen.
